Wilburton Main Street July 2018 Business of the Month

Wagner & Lynch Law Firm 2018

Wilburton Main Street is proud to announce that Wagner and Lynch Law Firm has been chosen as the Main Street Business of the Month for the month of July, 2018.

Brecken Wagner had a solo practice and Blake Lynch worked for Pat Layden. Brecken and Blake became friends and shared cases from time to time. In 2012 Blake asked Brecken to join him in a jury trial in Antlers. Noticing how well they worked together, Brecken started asking Blake to join in with him and create a firm with the two of them as partners. Over the course of quite a few golf outings, the foundation for the details were laid out, and on April 1, 2013, Wagner & Lynch was born.

Blake and Brecken chose to open a Wilburton office, in part, because Blake liked Wilburton. Blake had worked for Pat Layden prior to that and enjoyed being in Latimer County. They also have a wonderful paralegal/office manager/everything else employee named Amanda Littlejohn who has been able to handle keeping that office running while the attorneys are darting from county to county. Blake stated, “It really is all about the people of Latimer county, though. Without good people to help and be inspired by, we would never have opened this office. We look forward to being here for many years to come!”

Blake and Brecken chose the building they are currently in at 123 W. Main because they saw a lot of potential in it. When it served as the Armadillo Grill, it was hard to see what a finished product might look like, but they had a vision. The first remodel was a test of will and time management because they needed an office opened and they were doing it themselves for the most part. So, all the design and detail came from Blake and Brecken’s creative vision. It was a lot of fun and a little stressful on them. When they decided to finish the second floor, they hired a contractor. That presented it’s own challenges, but resulted in a beautiful finished product. Unfortunately, due to the fire next door, all of that work was eventually torn out. The office as it sits today is in its third remodel. They lost some of the homemade charm of the first version, and the recycled and vintage items from the second remodel but have struck a great balance with this current version.

Wagner and Lynch Law Firm is located in two locations. The Wilburton office is located at 123 W. Main Street.  For the Wilburton location, the number is 918-465-5544.  The second location is located in McAlester, Ok at 109 E. Washington.  For the McAlester location, the number is 918-421-8843.

Wagner and Lynch provides the following services:  Criminal, Family, Civil, Personal Injury, Estate, Will and Trust and Tribal (Blake is licensed to practice in Choctaw Nation, Cherokee Nation, Seminole Nation and Muscogee Creek Nation courts). They are a diverse law firm.

For additional information you can visit their website at seoklaw.com.

Wagner and Lynch have been supporters for Wilburton Main Street for many years.  Recently some of the events that they have assisted with are the “Keep It Neat” Golf Tournament, Twenty Men Who Cook, Donkey Basketball, to name a few.  We appreciate their contributions as well, as their efforts in revitalizing and preserving the history of a Main Street building. Congratulations Wagner and Lynch Law Firm.
